And, as soon as I purchase a Harbor Freight compounder and some Diamond Brite truck box polish, I intend to shine it up too.

I used the painters poles took the handles off (not cut) put the screwed end in the holder and used replacement flag pole clips from my flag dealer. I already fly 7 flags with a 3 pole holder.

I would love to get a flag pole holder from Rob. How does one do that?

Well, not a great shot of the poles (or of Rob's holder, which is a great piece of work) but it's all I have now. I used the telescoping poles and placed the plastic handle at the top of the pole - this also serves to keep the flag from "traveling" up and down. To secure the flags, I just used the nylon ties that I had on hand.

Frank...what are some of the flags in the pictures: blue/yellow/red/white vert stripe? - where can I get a WDCU flag? Are the flags 3 x 5'? Thanks!

Bob

For every action....

.....what is the re-action ?

Is there a downside to having all those flaggs flapping around up there all day ?

Is it akin to having your awning out on a breezy day ?

Bob, that is the Buddhist flag you are asking about... All my sizes are 3x5 on 12 foot poles. Ask Doug Rowbottom how to get a WDCU flag. If does not have them I think he will know who to ask.

I buy them at lowes. Aluminum painters pole. They are 1" at the base and 12' long. All the plastic gets stripped except the locking part in the center. Zip ties allow for easy change over. I tried to look them up in the online catalog, but they don't show up, however they are right in the isle where brooms and mops are. Even thought 8' looks more compact and is cheaper, it is just not tall enough.
Pole-ez also makes very nice poles. They advertise in the Blue Beret.
