Exterior stripe and interior decals

Here's the decal process our trailer went through in order to bring her back to life...

Airstream name badges

Once the name badges were removed I spray painted them entirely with an automotive paint that matched the stripe decal. The paint on the raised letters were then sanded off with an electric hand sander then clear coated and re-riveted back on the trailer.

911,
The update worked beautifully & the trailer looks great!
It's nice to know that there is a solution to the faded, cracked, body stripes on an older Airstream.

Yes Mark there are solutions for the faded and cracked decal stripes. Once the inside was complete there was no way I'd want to be making excuses for the outside looking less than stellar.
Taking off the decal stripe was a HORRIBLE process of trial and error, lots of chemicals and not enough knowledge to know any better. Tenacity paid off and then using a VERY professional company to replace the decals with exactly what I wanted was the one two combo for success!
