creeping corrosion on a 2010 AS?

Hi Everyone,

I have just noticed a half dozen of small tendril like lines and patches of what appears to be corrosion creeping out from under exterior lights and fittings.

"Whats this?!" I say....

Is my AS "rusting"?

Is there a cure or method to stop this? Is it normal?

Anyone?

What you're seeing is Filaform.

More than you ever wanted to know can be found here.

Are the older units less susceptible to the corrosion issue?

Pretty much normal, not a structural problem, only cosmetic.
