I went camping in the Fl keys in my 25' AS My camp site was under a tree for 1 month. When I got home I wash the trailer with car liquid soap. I than noticed I have a stain on the top to side top of the trailer. Any one know what cleaning agent would be best to remove stain. Thanks for your time. TK
You didn't mention what type of tree you parked under. The Keys have pines. They also have lots of oaks which stain without leaving a gooey pitch. My trailer lives under oaks. Staining is an issue in the late winter during pollen season. This is,mostly on the white roof areas, not so much on the sides. I find that a dilute solution of simple green and light pressure washing is the best. Some scrubbing with a pole mounted terry wash bonnet helps reduce the need for pressure (and I like to use as little pressure as possible). Where staining is an issue on the aluminum and that technique doesn't deliver the result I want, Mother's Clay Bar does the rest. It is basically a silly putty consistency clay that polishes clear coat. It works on other staining issues too and it might qualify as a miracle if you need one more to qualify for sainthood.

I understand peanut butter removes pine sap. I can't vouch for this, but I have often been told this... and it is cheap.
