Caulk Seams before Polishing?

We have a 94 Excella we are stripping the clear coat on and polishing. It does leak so we are going to also fix seams and use Trolleys on rivets.

So these are the first steps we are going to take:

1) Strip Clearcoat
2) Remove caulk that is deteriorating or loose

Now do we find leaks and repair seams next or do we polish and find leaks and repair AFTER?

(Important to note the interior has been gutted. We are in the process of removing the insulation and inner skins.)

Thanks!

I would do it after. I did it first and the caulk gets soft with the buffer when you get in tight to the windows and it will dissolve with mineral spirits.
