Bug Spray

On our trip to Anastasia State Park near St. Augustine Florida this past week we had an attack of ants up the side of our Safari. My wife grabbed a can of insect killer and sprayed the little buggers before they could get in the coach. Bad move. We now have an ugly mess where the spray landed. Any ideas on removing the ugly mess? Thanks.

You might try some Walbernize on the area. You need to be carefull with what you use on the finish (as if you didn't already realize that ) Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll come right out.

Good Luck

I agree. I might also try some Armor All Car Wash stuff first followed by Walbernize stuff. The plastic coating on the aluminium is pretty testy.

I am still not sure how the heck I am going to get the tree sap off!

FWIW- I was cleaning my car windows last weekend, scraping the tree sap with a razor blade. Missed a couple of spots and was using Sparkle window cleaner, it took them off. It doesn't have ammonia in it, used it on the paint and didn't hurt it. The usual caveat, try it somewhere inconspicuous, but it worked great for me.
