Bike Racks

Hello, I am new to the forum and a first time Airstream owner. Next Monday I am picking up my 2012 30' Flying Cloud. Before picking it up, I am considering having an Airstream recommended bike rack installed by the dealer. How does this effect access to the trunk and bumper storage compartment? Would it have any adverse effects on the trailer? Bad idea? Good idea? Thanks for any comments.
