ARGOSY letters

Hi, hoping I am posting this correctly if not please someone let me know

We are restoring our 1975 Argosy and repairing the rear end "bumper" which holds the rear lights (I have no idea what it is called) the signal lights it is a fiberglass thing that stick out from the body.

There are normally what looks like letters that would be about 2.5" tall that are what appears to be cast aluminum. Our letters are missing and we would love to find some…spell….ARGOSY…hoping someone may have some extras or ?? Please lets me known. Linda

The fiberglass piece along the rear is sometimes referred to as a BEZEL.

Here's a shot from the time when we were decommissioning the trailer in 2006.

This is the aluminum casting of the word ARGOSY. It is all one piece; you won't be able to find "letters".

This is my neat little trailer when finished:

Refinishing those pieces took hours and hours. I had to carefully mask and spray them to get the effect I wanted.

And since the front and rear of the trailer provide different backgrounds for the logo I had to make each a reverse mirror image of the other.

You might be able to find replacements in a RV salvage yard. There is a famous one in Missouri, the name forgotten just now but some one here will chime in.

I bought a window from a member in New Hampshire who was parting out an ARGOSY. Maybe I can find his name for you.

Colaw RV Used Parts - We Have Your Part...

I bought several odds-n-ends parts from them for my '73. Not too pricey considering some of the stuff they have on the back lot.

Love Novato, BTW. Haven't been there in many years. Bet it's still beautiful. Good luck on your search and have fun with your new toy.
