Airstream Disaster

I haven't posted in a while now... been distracted with other projects, but I recently purchased a new Tennsmith stomp shear and several sheets of aluminum to get started in the interior work.

However, all those plans came to a screeching halt Saturday evening with the arrival of a very strong gust of wind. So now, I'll be offering whatever parts I can save to who ever might need them.

This WAS at 1976 31' Airstream... now, is only a pile of fond memories and lost potential.

If you think you need any parts, please send an email to hoytp01@hotmail.com

No one was hurt in the making of these photos...

Thanks,
Pete

OMG! So sorry to see this. My '72 Trade Wind project sits under a 150 year old massive tree. It gives me nightmares!

Thanks everyone... my wife thinks I can salvage the front half and turn the back half into a patio for a mobile coffee shop. Boy, does she think outside of the box!

It hurts me to look at those pictures. Sorry for your loss. Does your wife buck rivets?

Sorry for the loss of what looked like a beautiful trailer. The poor thing didn't stand a chance.

Oh, man. That's enough to about make me sick - I can't imagine how you felt when you discovered the damage. Good luck with however you proceed from here.

Sorry to see your loss......

Well looking at the bright side of things you have a great start for a light weight tandem axle utility trailer to carry away the carcass to the scrapyard.
