This is as bad a crushed Stream as I've ever seen. (and I rolled one!)

It may not have "hit" you yet, but oh my dear people you are SO lucky that no one was IN the Airstream when it happened. We just had 2 tent campers killed and several RV campers injured when straightline winds hit a campground near Cape Charles VA on the eastern shore. They only got 2-5 minutes warning and the winds hit before anyone could move to a shelter building.

This is BAD but it's a bad thing. If you want another Airstream you'll get one even if this one wasn't fully insured (replacement cost is always greater than insured value).

I am sending you some Good Karma I found yesterday - whether it comes as a lottery win, or a pristine vintage Airstream or whatever - I hope you find and enjoy it soon. Salvage what you can - the windows and the door look like they both survived intact. Any appliances spared? Awning FABRIC in good condition on the big awning? The tube didn't make it. How about the small awnings? It always surprises me that whole walls go pretzel shaped and the windows just sort of stay together.

File your claim, and start looking for a replacement. I found mine on craigslist of all places. People that leave their phone number on the add are more serious about selling and not a scam. Something good wil come out of this, you just don't know it yet.

Oh man!! That makes my whole insides lurch! Total sympathies to you and family. I think they'd have to haul me away with it if it were mine!

Oh My, deepest condolences to you. I know exactly how you feel I lost my 31 last winter from snow load. It was the front of mine that received most of the damage. maybe between the two of us we could put together one trailer. I'm so sorry for your loss Pete. I hope it was insured. I had to fight with my ins.co and finally I am getting a settlement. The hardest part was to get them to agree on a value I could live with.

Hi there I know this happened a while back, but wondering if you still have any parts. I'm looking for a window for my 84 31' sovereign. Do you have any parts left?
