Advice on installing big blue stripe on 85 Excella

I am now ready to install the new 6.5" blue decal around my Excella. Is there anymore to doing this in addition to making the area clean with de-natured alcohol and keeping the stripe straight? Hoping to do this tomorrow. Thanks, in advance!

I can just say not to over stretch it when you apply it.

Should I use any water when installing the decal?

We used soapy water in a spray bottle, and a wallpaper squeegee to squeegee out the wrinkles & bubbles. There may be some small bubbles that you can't seem to get out, but they should disappear when the decal dries. We used a small needle to pop some of the larger ones that we couldn't get rid of.
