Exterior blue trim insert

Hi. I am trying to find replacement for MISSED trim on my trailer. I have a trim on ebay and the seller send me the picture. My question is, that according to the picture, the exposed part is over 1/2" wide when flat.
The channel I have on the trailer has 3/8" from edge to edge.
So is it the correct size trim for my channel, meaning it need to bulge 3/16 when installed, or is it just a bigger insert?

There are two sizes of belt line insert.

The exposed part is either 5/16" or 9/16" wide.

The large insert cannot be used for the small insert.

From 1973 and back, tape and/or paint was used in the moldings.

Some owners have updated the trailer with the new style moldings and inserts, especially when they may have needed a section of the old molding, that is no longer available.

My 1990 Classic motor home has a trim insert all the way around the MH. The insert is 7/16" in the part that goes into the molding and 5/16" is the part exposed. I called Inlend RV and they told me to call Airstream and get a part number? Anyone know a source of this insert?

When looking for parts, such as the molding inserts, it always helps when a dimension is provided.

We have, in stock, what your looking for.
