1972 awning

Hi Everyone!

I have found this website so helpful!

I just purchased a 1972 Airstream and I am so excited!!! I am looking for an awning as it does not have one..... I priced them out and they are about $2000. Wondering if this sounds about right or if anyone has any suggestions??

Also.... how do your do you know how long your airstream is?? They said mine was a 24 foot.... I have the original paperwork but nothing tells me!!!

THANK YOU!!!

If you have a 1975 Overlander like you have listed in your profile, it's 27'. that means you would need a 17' awning.

If you post the serial number of the trailer we'll be able to tell you exactly what you have. It is located on a plaque beside the door and on the a-frame near the propane tanks.

As mentioned in my message to you,
So this means you have a Land Yacht, 25 feet long, Double bed with rear bath configuration, built in 1972 in Jackson Centre. The final four numbers are the sequential serial number.
