I like the bedroom in the rear. Less window area to create drafts in colder weather and cooler in the summer. Less glare from lights when we are parked at a WalMart or Flying J.

I got my 25 FB without the wrap around bedroom windows. That makes one heck of a difference in how dark and quiet the bedroom is. The wrap arounds are great in the back by the dinette. If you have front wrap arounds you're going to a rock shield over them all of the time, so the view is still rather obscured.

I got that wretched sideways queen, which I'm converting to twins. If you really really want a queen, I'd recommend going to the 27 FB for a true walk around queen.

Here's a side question. Where the heck do you stow dirty laundry? May be a bigger problem for a fulltimer than a part timer, but ideas anyone?

We stow our laundry in one side of our closet. We hang the short items on that side.

We have been considering a 25/27 rear dinette model. But does anyone find that side sofa useful for sitting? What do you use it for?

Laundry? Isn't that what the shower stall is for (when not showering, which is most of the time)?

It's up to you guys, but did you know that you are answering a question that was posted 4 years ago? The original poster asked his question in Jan. of 2007 and the thread has been dead since Mar. 2007.

Hi, I like the single all purpose bathroom in my trailer; I have read that quite a few people have been trapped in the shower, on the split bathroom models, because the inside handle/latch broke. I believe one person said his wife was stuck in the shower stall for about two hours. I like my rear queen in my 25'er. My wife is small, so getting around the back side isn't a problem for her. A 27' queen is nicer, but more trailer than I want to have/tow. Finally after remodeling our living room, our trailer is much more user friendly and comfortable than the original set-up.

I use two collapsable bags (one for whites and one for darks) that stand up on their own - they pop into shape - said bags stay in the shower unless I'm in there...

As for "wheel interested" you said exactly the points I wanted to make!

Oh well I did, actually know it was an old thread. In 2007 I had a FB and commented in this thread then and now I don't have that model and my priorities and conclusions have changed in regard to which living space I like the most and why.

And I think John was making an update after he posted last year.

Doug we found the side lounge good for extra guests but often it was used to put stuff on or put our legs up from the dinette. We would sleep there when we had guests but never sat there. I thought it would be good to sit there with my back on the wall but the tv would interfere with that. The dog laid there.

Hey dirty laundry still happens. Mine goes either in the closet in a laundry bag or I do have a colapsable laundry basket and may put it in the shower too, depending upun space and how much laundry.

And now Bob has an custom Airstream that he did himself.

Doug the side lounge is good for guest seating or sleeping. The dog would sleep there or we would put our legs up there from the sitting at the dinette. The tv stops you from putting your back on the wall though to sit facing the rear with your legs up. We put stuff there a lot.

Well, I'll add my 2 cents. We love our 25' FB with the wrap around windows in the front. With the added rock guards across the front windows it is very difficult for anyone to see inside the bedroom with the curtains open. We leave our curtains open during the day and still have lots of privacy. The lounge area may not be the most comfortable but we make do with it. Many times we sit at the dinette and play games. The side facing queen bed has never been a problems for us. We would replace our FB with another FB.
