Safari vs. International

I am looking to purchase a 2007 or 2008 27' FB. I see the dry weight is about 400 lbs heavier for the International. Can anyone tell me what this is attributed to?

I think the 2007 came in a Safari, or the many optioned Safari SE which had more standard features such as panoramic windows, microwave, sound/visual package, higher trim level. The Safari SE would weigh about the same as the International.

Ron,

Below is a link to a page on the Airstream website for trailer specs by model by year. Notice there is also a tab at the top where you can access the manual for trailers by year and model.

Airstream, Inc :: 2000's

The Safari SE does have more features than the regular Safari as Doug K indicates. The regular Safari will weigh less than the Safari SE and the International due to the absence of a panoramic window. I agree with Doug the Safari SE and the International should be very close to the same dry weight due to the added features of the SE which make it very similar to the International with the exception of the decor.
