The 20' does have a real nice bathroom. We may have chosen the 20' if it had a tandem axle. You may have set a record for the quickest upgrade

Of course you need it! It's been said multiple times on these forums, a great combination to have is an Airstream for camping and an Airstream for tinkering (well, a shell-off is a bit more than tinkering, but you get my drift...)

Congrats on the new 20'!

Of course you have a need for the Globetrotter. The new baby won't like being alone. Just think, you could have a tall carport on each side of the house and use the Airstreams as guestrooms. Now, that's real justification if I ever heard it!! Good luck.

Oh no!

Well, the deal for the 20' Safari fell through (financing didn't work out the way we hoped)... At least the leaks on our Basecamp are fixed!

Liz DID agree to a Globe Trotter though, so the saga continues!

There's nothing wrong with a Base Camp and a Globe Trotter in stock. Bummer on the 20' but circumstances change down the road. You can reword the GT to suit your exact needs, and Vintage is great fun.

Keep us posted on how that pursuit goes. And of course pictures.

Cheating on your trailer

Congrats!
Cheating on your first trailer while she was home! Shame on you
I walked in a basecamp. It was cute but way too small for my use. So what did chris Burch say when you gave him the "bad" news?

That's my feeling as well. If we find the RIGHT GT, we can gut it out and make it the EXACT trailer we want.

The '64 that I had my eye on is no longer available, but the search is half the fun...
