Thanks for the congrats!

3DogNight: Congrats on your 2007 20’ Safari SE LS due Dec 7th!
Hope you can join OpenHigher and us at San Elijo State Beach Dec. 27th!

Roscinante: Nice fall photo of your 19’ Safari!

Tsunami: Glad to hear in your pm that your 1000# Equal-I-zer works great for you…
And for your similar TV: 2006 Silvarado 2500 Duramax/Allison…
Pulling a 2006 23’ Safari SE over 8000 mi. since May 2006!
You say it’s been flawless and worry-free towing…
Just what I wanted to hear… in-the-field experience!

Nickcrowhurst: Thanks for answering 3DogNights’s question…
By referring him to your impressive mathematical analysis of load distribution hitches!

Thanks again all and Happy Holidays!

Equalizer

We use the 4-way Equalizer. It takes care of the sway and weight distribution. We pulled our 30' Limited through some high whipping winds at Palm Springs. The Wind Mills were spinning and the our Airstream never swayed or strayed. The big trucks that passed us on IH10 or that is fly by, never bothered the silver roadrunner. She never wiggled.

Nick, Not wanting to dull Silvergate's excitement of his new AS purchase by going off topic on his thread I replied on your original thread that you noted. If you have time please give it a check and help me clear up any of my misunderstandings. Thanks, Jerry

Equal-i-zer Users... let's mull this over!

Bob (Canoe stream): Well I continue to mull over the Equal-i-zer size question…
And invite other Equal-i-zer users to come out of the kitchen…
And bring some hot-mulled wine or ale with you… (you’ll need it)
While you read and contribute to: "Load Distribution Hitches…" under Towing at:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f238/load-distribution-hitches-analysis-19236-4.html
Then…
Equal-i-zer users: Let's elevate our knowledge base:
If you have been reading this thread and have an Equal-i-zer WD Hitch…
Please take a moment and go to "Community Polls" here:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f232/what-size-equal-i-zer-hitch-do-you-use-28204.html
And add to our knowledge base under thread, "What size Equal-i-zer Hitch Do You Use?"
The size of your Equal-i-zer Hitch (600# or 1000#)
Your tow vehicle model and size
Your trailer size… and why you like your hitch.

Thank you!

Congratulations....you made a great choice with all those goodies! I can feel your excitement (almost like I was there ) and am also excited there seems to be a gathering of airstreams at our favorite local SB site San Elijo during the X-mas holiday. Dan and I will be parked there Dec 22-27th so hope to see some fellow forum members with their shiny airstreams over the holiday!

Also a big congratulations to Claybags and 3DogNight on their new Airstream purchases, welcome to the family

Barbara (who is on and offline due to network difficulties)

Congratulations Bill. We are anxiously awaiting our delivery date a week from this Friday. We already have two trips planned, our little shakedown cruise after we pick it up, and the Rally in North Florida in January. We have spent so much time and thought buying supplies and preparing for the delivery that Pat just reminded me we need to start thinking about Christmas too.

Hooboy. This waiting is starting to encroach on our 'other life'! Know just how you feel! Christmas? Uh oh. Is that coming up? Will someone put that little hose elbow in my stocking? Because I don't want anything that doesn't scream Airstream.
Our deivery date is this Thurs. or Fri, and like you, we have a local shakedown planned, followed by the NorCal rally in 29 Palms. Can't wait.
Hope we survive the night.
Take care and happy trails!

Thanks rgodfrey and janetb for the congrats!
And congrats to you on your new Airstream purchase…
Christmas??? I’m already dreamin’ about the new year!

Thanks Barbara for the congrats… and for sharing the excitement…
And, of course, you were there… what fun!
(Just as I was successfully concluding negotiations with Troy at Southwest Coaches…
Barbara called asking Troy for answers to my Solar questions to her the night before!)
We all had a wonderful chat… and you are right, Barbara…
It was a fun buying experience at Southwest Coaches!
I’ll send you a pm re: rendezvous date and time for chat at San Elijo.

Thanks

And Congratulations to you tport40!

Thanks for the congratulations, tport40…

In all of the initial excitement I overlooked your exciting news:
After carefully comparing the SS to the FB…
You ordered that beautiful and popular 25’ Safari FB SE LS…
On the same day that I ordered my Safari!
So, the race is on… to see who will get theirs first!
Let’s keep in touch…

Happy Holidays!
