Just moved it to a KOA near Quincy, FL close to our home. Will be getting together with friends for Thanksgiving. Our next big trip will be our 30 days summer vacation down the west coast of Florida and back up the east coast. Will be doing a lot of camping in between locally.
Hey Silversub
There's little to compare with the happy feeling of bringing home an outfit as nice as the one in your pictures - congrats!
A question about the bunk - does that window still open? I was thinking about that option on a smaller trailer for a couple of reasons - the extra sleeping obviously, but also a great place to store bedding/pillows during the day, or heavier coats during cooler weather camping. It's really the best way to make use of space that is otherwise 'wasted'. But I could never get an answer about whether they left the window so it would open.
The picture with the sunlight shining through the curtain is the bunk. Two curtains on that window, for the lower bed and the bunk. The window doesn't open, which for us is a good thing, since we have a 7 year old up there. The max. weight is 150lbs.
We pick up our new 27 FB LS SE Saturday morning....sleep is mighty hard to come by this week. I'm running on fumes. Just ordered a Hensley Arrow too.
There goes next week's sleep!
It's interesting to see that the wheels appear to be the same as those on the non-SE 2006 model. Perhaps wheels are now standard across the Safari line.
Hey Silversub: Congratulations! Beautiful coach.
You might want to check out the " Florida Getogether" forum ralley in the panhandle comming up Jan. 5,6 & 7 at Topsail Hill S.P. We'd like to see your new coach, AND meet y'all as well.
Thirteen signed up so far. It promises to be a worthy event to kick off 07, and of coarse Forum ralleys are always great fun.
There is a site map on the rally thread. Not too late to reserve one .
