I don't understand this post. Please explain if you you have the time. Maybe it would be better as a PM or am I missing something?

It's directed to Paula Ford—who is looking for a new trailer. I think I did manage to send the link to her as a PM. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks, Bluto (great name, by the way).

Air2go,
I see, said the blind man. Sometimes I just don't get stuff. Now it's clear, even to me.

No worries, Bluto; I'm still negotiating my way around the Forums.
Tim: Yours was my first proposal, and (as of yesterday) it's now even legal up in this far neck of the woods .

Thank You
I really appreciate your remembering my interest in a gently used 27 FB CCD. This one would have been almost ideal.
I had been drooling over the 27 FB for a long time, but still liked my 25 FB. Finally I decided to just customize my 25 and be done with it - It will certainly cost less than selling the one I have and buying yet another. There is really no justification for buying 3 Airstreams within 5 or 6 years. (OK, truth. If I win the lottery or my 25 were to be totalled in a wreck you could bet your booty it would be replaced with a 27 FB CCD.)
I just redid the bedroom with a nice new comforter set and am in process of having the dinette table, bathroom counter and bedside table redone with a much better grade laminate. I'd already installed a hydraulic side lift for the dinette table... and the new table will simply be put on that.
I'm putting a new faucet in the bathroom with a higher rise and the one knob control. In the kitchen I may replace the oven, stovetop and sink. It'll also get a new countertop which depends on what I choose for the sink. The new 25 FB safaris come with the lobster bowl sink, and I'm torn between going to the factory and getting the rounded cabinet and bowl, or just going to a single rectangular sink in the current cabinet. I really like the SMEV burner unit, and I do want a convection microwave, but what JC wanted to change it out for the oven... $1100 - uh no way! Found a local company that could do it for me, plus I am actually rather mechanically inclined, so I could do that part myself. (Naw, not going to happen. I could putz around for a week or hire a pro who would knock it out in a day. Cost? Hell it's cheaper than a new Airstream.)
I unloaded about $5K in first class woodworking tools when I sold the house. I do wish I'd kept my router, but for some reason I did keep most of my bits, so if I weren't so lazy I could get a small router and do my countertops myself. (Ref above paragraph about cost vs. putzing around.)

Paula, I've got 3 routers and you can't In spite of 2air's worthy admonishments Susie & I would both fit through the smaller egress window on our early FB. Yes, I've seen better. I'd prolly prefer cosmotini's 27' FB International. But we're pretty well 'moved in' right now and that won't be happening.

You're very welcome, Paula
I had forgotten your nom de aire, hence the initial public notice. I'm glad to hear things are working out well with your 25FB; hope you'll post pictures of the changes you're making. And as for the 28FB CCD in question—what a beauty! I had never seen one in the wild before, and thought of you immediately. Looks like a great price, too.
Tim (and Lumatic): Ah, yes—"Hey, Paula/Paul" the song lyrics. That completely went over my head when I was writing the post—good catch. OK so now my face is and I'm stuck with a pair of wedding pumps (size 12E) that will be impossible to unload .
