Is there a foolproof remedy for stopping rain water from working its way through the hinges on the '66 through '68 windows, other than the large aluminum cowls I've seen installed over the windows -- they seem to ruin what the '66 through '68 design achieved in a really smooth surface. I've read suggestions that include silicone sealant, but don't want leaks after opening a few times. Any real solutions out there?
