Question Wheeled Curtain Carriers: How do they work?

My 1971 Caravel came with no curtains, but the wheeled curtain carriers are still in place in the front. (Not sure of the terms. The are little jobbies that look like, say, ear muffs for a small lizard). I'm setting about fashioning curtains. I can't figure out how these things work. How do you attach the fabric to them? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Use curtain hooks. There are several types for that application depending on what kind of curtain you have. Here is a link to some pics

There is a photo here. If you look closely at the photo on the right, there are written instructions just below the display curtain rod.

we had the same issue

What we did was use the wheels top and bottom on the front window. my wife sewed elastic strip to the curtains with it looped through the ring on the wheels. this resulted in tension on the curtains, and works great.

Looks like a good solution for me. The fabric I'm using has a strong snake skin pattern in silver and black and I don't think it invites pleats.
