What is mouse fur?
I've seen several posts about it, and I'm assuming that it isn't what's actually on mice. So, what is it, where is it, and is it likely to be in a late 90's/early 00's 34' Airstream?
A picture would be nice.

I know the Airstream 360's and 370's had it in the mid 90's. All I know is that I'm glad I don't have it in my 310; as when it starts falling off the walls and ceiling due to the glue letting go, the coach has to be gutted and stripped to fix it, as it runs behind gables and cabinets. Some people have tried to reglue it with little or no success.

The mouse fur is a product called Ozite ( Motor Home-RV | Ozite – Textile Specialists since 1864 ). It is not only on the walls of my 2002 19' Bambi, but also the ceiling. It really isn't that hard to reglue if it comes loose. 3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive works very well. Several years ago, the mouse fur on our ceiling came partly loose. Small slits in the material and a homemade tube extension on the spray can did the job. I slid the tube into the slits and sprayed the adhesive around in the loose spots and pressed the mouse fur back in place. All formerly loose spots are still adhering well.
It may be on the walls of the 34', but the ceiling would probably be padded vinyl. If the vinyl comes loose, other reattaching methods are usually necessary because the padding deteriorates.

Wall covering info
The product is woven polypropylene and cleaning of this product is different than most other products. I suggest finding a supplier of carpet cleaning products and ask for a specific product for cleaning polypropylene, follow the directions on the label.
Second, on the linked postings above, one of the members used a very flammable solvent to remove the glue - bad idea. Your local flooring supply house sells a soybean-base product that is very effective, non-toxic and it is not flammable - easy to use and clean-up.
Hope this helps (cleaning and restoration business for 40 years - plenty of experience with both products).

It takes a lot of mice hides to cover the walls in our Classic.
Velcro sticks good though......

We had a 2005 Safari 25FB and it had the mouse fur. We found this interior both good and bad.
On the bad side, it got dingy rather fast and certain areas always need cleaning. On the good side, it prevented the humidity problems that the aluminum finish interiors suffer with. It was also great for hanging things on the wall. You could just put some Velcro hook on the back of an item and the mouse fur provided the loop. We had decorations on Old Lucy's walls that were there for eight years.

When we took ours into Jackson Center last year, they cleaned the mold off the mouse fur with bleach. It did a nice job, just like new.
We find that the mouse fur makes it quieter inside, easier for me to hear. It deadens outside noise, keeps inside noises from bouncing around and we think it helps insulate too. Rolling over in the bed and touching the mouse fur is definitely better than coming in contact with cold aluminum.
You can see it here on ours, walls and ceiling.

Thanks, all. "Ozite" rang a bell as that's what our ceiling is, and when the new cabinets were made around the refrigerator Larry put some of that in. I asked him what it was, and I think he said Ozite.
We did look at one 34' (late 90's, as I recall) that had vinyl on the ceiling. It was falling down in places, and they had done some repairs to try to keep it up. I got the impression that that is a known issue, so when we start looking for our coach we'll keep an eye out for falling vinyl ceilings.
