Vinyl Wall Covering Removal

Hello all:

What have some of you used to remove the vinyl wall covering in 1970s vintage coaches? I saw a YouTube video that recommended the Jasco Paint Remover product, but that didn't work at all. The bathroom wall covering is the most difficult because it is thick.

Hi there,
I have used Jasco on my 67 Safari and it worked like a charm.
What I am having an issue with is the residue left.
It has a brass looking appearance and glue residue. The glue comes off with a lot of effort but can't seem to remove the brass appearance.

The wall covering removal area the I have completed as per the YOUtube video instructions have come out great.

1. Jasco - paint on thick, wait 15 minutes, apply again, wait another 15
2. Remove wall covering as it loosens
3. Apply another light coat to remove residual adhesive and covering
4 Wipe down with Goof-Off
5.Wipe down with Mineral Sprits
6. Wipe down with WD-40

I wish I had the results that the guy in the YouTube video has with his initial covering removal. He takes it off by the panel. I get my covering off by the square inch...
