Upholstery Mystery

I'm in the process of redoing a 1960 Tradewind and I have no idea about the front "bed / couch". It appears the couch pulls out to be a bed, but I have no idea how to do the cushions. Can you buy these items? Can the wife sew some kind of cover over foam? She's good with those crafty kinds of things. Is there a pattern available? I wish I knew what I was doing!

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
