'T' and 'G' clips! Oh my!
Everybody,
I have found that the cheapest place to get your "T" and "G" clips for your draperies is actually through Airstream themselves!
It seems like everyone that has these clips sill only sell them to you in quantities of 25.
My drapes took approximately 4 packages of each!
Most everyone else is getting 35 cents a piece for them and Airstream gets 31 cents a piece for them.
I know it isn't saving you much but I have become the KING of frugality!
Here is the link to the Airstream site for them. http://www.airstream.com/shop/dynami...ior&action=cat
I always keep my eyes peeled for deals!
Keep the shiny thing rolling!

Darn, a few days too late...
I just ordered some from an Airstream dealer last Friday, at $.35 each. Oh well, if I need more I'll order them from the factory.

I bought some last month from Dryers RV Parts . They came 14 in a pack and the cost was 21 cents a piece . They shipped them to my door in about two or three days . Now my wife needs to get the drapes finnished so we can use what we ordered . I found them listed in the Airstream trailer link library.
Have fun with your new curtains.

Andrew,
Let's keep good deals like this coming!
As dynamic as the RV parts market is we need to keep each other informed when we find a good deal on something.
I like using the links here but if I have it smack me in the face from the Portal it is easier for me to say to myself, "Hey, I forgot all about that and I need it!".
If somebody comes across a sale or a "deal of a lifetime" I really think it would help if we post it.
Maybe a new forum called, "Deals on products". I am just brain-storming.

Supplier / Manufacturer
I cannot recall, but the clips are actually made by a popular sewing supplies manufacturer. You see the name on all kinds of sewing items like zippers, needles, embroidery items and such. If I heard the name I would know it. The clips are not exclusive to Airstream like some believe.
I actually bought them straight from the supplier for 17 cents apiece. I bought two hundred of each. If you are making all new curtains, you will need a LOT of them.

Do you remember the name of the supplier/manufacturer for the g clips? The cheapest I found were from Airstream, but shipping and handling made them $0.46 a piece.

Wow and to think I painstakingly removed each and every clip off my old curtains and placed them on my new curtains.

Curtain Clips
I removed the clips from some of my curtains and saved some money, but the curtain clips that surround the front window were damaged by the sun. A lot of them were broken, some are just brittle so I have to replace them. I don't want to install my new curtains and then a few days later have to take them down and replace the clips. I was hoping to find the clips for less than $0.46 a piece (I need 75), but it doesn't look like I will.
