. . .wood stove would indeed be great in the winter . . . and then how about a kegerator in the summer?

(Laird put me up to that -- I'd be voting for a winerator )

"I ordered the curtain track hardware from Vintage Trailer Supply. A word of warning... the track extrusions were about 1 millimeter too sloppy which is all it takes to allow the slider to slip out of the track. I had to bend every track to slightly close the gap or the curtain sliders (also from Vintage Trailer Supply) would come out."

On all of my tracks for curtains on my '89 Classic Motorhome, someone (guess maybe Airstream?) has places small self-tapping machine screws in the ends of the tracks. That way, if curtains ever need to be cleaned, all I have to do is remove the screws, slide curtains out, and remove the curtain sliders off of the fabric. Just a suggestion....
Thanks, Derek

The problem is not with the ends of the track, it's with the entire track. The plastic glides will fall right out the front of the track because the gap is too large. I seem to have solved the problem by bending the gap closed. The flexing spider-webbed the protective coating, but at least they work now.

Really nice job! We just pulled our sofa out of the AS this morning. We're not very DIY so upholstery guy is picking up tomorrow! My skills fall more in the design area and sourcing cool stuff !
