Just wondering if anyone has any experience with FXSheeting

I used it on my old dishwasher

It's remarkably good - any of the brushed metalics can make an older appliance look brand new. Try brushed copper if you're sick and tired of everything being stainless steel.

I'm using it as part of the toe kick on my new cabinets that I'm building for my 56 caravanner. I got a roll on clearance from their online store. I've also used it on other nonairstream projects. It's pretty cool stuff, but you need very clean and flat surface to work with. If you need to make any adjustments, which require you to pull it up you are screwed. The glue side is very sticky and will not let you wiggle it.

For what it's worth, I think the product is very good for small flat applications. Anything large or with curves and the cost becomes pretty steep.

Good product, but expensive.

Doug

thanks

thanks Paula and Doug,

great to learn about your experience with this product.

I thought about using it to update my kitchen counters, but it might not be the best use of it.

Love the idea of using it in the AS kickplate area! Would love to reface the cabinets with it, but prolly way too pricey.

thanks again
Lynda

Have you looked at similar products by Formica, Wilsonart, Nevamar, Arborite, etc.?

Thanks for posting this. Looks like a good material to use on the new cover for the fridge vent that I'm currently building (the one inside the trailer).
