Replacing ABS plastic walls in vintage trailer

We are looking at a 1986 sovereign. The walls and ceiling appear to be paneled in ABS plastic. We wonder if there's an aluminum skin beneath the ABS or if the ABS serves as the inner skin. If so, can ABS be painted or replaced?

It should be vinyl coated aluminum. I think some 90's trailers had some sort of fabric glued to the aluminum. Sorta like a car headliner. If it is the vinyl it can be painted. Just do a search on here.
