questions about painting?

we just purchased, a 1981 airstream international. about to begin the reno. Questions about painting the interior? what is the best kind of paint to use? and how did yall go about the painting? Some of the wallpaper type stuff has buckled and we are going to remove that, any ideas for the sticky stuff underneath?? thanks for any input. New to this!!!

Citristrip for sure to remove sticky stuff. It also works good on the wall paper it self but you will need a second coat to get the sticky stuff.

There have been successful applications of both oil and acrylic finishes and the key factor in success seems to be ensuring that you use compatible primer and paint systems and prep, prep, prep. Our interior looks 1000% better than when we purchased it but it took lots of work.
