Question:62 Ambsdr, Curtain Rods, Rolling Wheeled Clips

It is time we reattach the curtain rods in our 1962 Ambassador. We have all the rods with the wheeled rolling clips still attached.

Q: what product can we use to brighten and shine up the rods a bit as they are quite dull and some of them have a little bit of rust on the ends from storage?

Q: How did the curtains actually attached to the little rings hanging off the bottom. Was there a fabric band or curtain tape with attachment spots.

VTS still sells the wheeled curtain clips in case I need to replace a few that are very rusty.

Look on Amazon. Curtain track runners with nylon glider wheels.
40 each for less than $9.00 plus shipping. From Direct Hardware.

Thx Twinkie for another source in case I need extra gliders. Those are the exact match.

Now it looks like I just need to find the proper curtain pleating tape to work with those hooks.
