plastic end caps for horizontal blinds

Hello out to everyone in the Airstream World. My wife and I have been sprucing up the interior of the 94 Excella 1000 we bought used earlier in the summer. One item we've had no luck locating (yes, already called Airstream) is the clear plastic end/mounting brackets for the nice wood horizontal blinds that came with the trailer. Really would appreciate anyone who has info as to who has these hard to find items. I did a search and found one member had located some (?) at an outfit called Bud's Blinds?? Not to be too fussy I'd really like to find the plastic items versus any metal retros. Thanks for all the help and will anxiously await help. TP

Have you tried a drapery place? These might be a standard "household" part.....

Have you tried rv salvage yards ? I know there's one in MO. that has many Airstreams but I can't recall the name. Maybe someone else can chime in here. Good Luck

RV salvage yard + Missouri = Colaw's RV Salvage

thanks for the quick comments. Was hoping someone out there in our community might know who the original manufacturer was. I did find out from Airstream that whoever this company was, is no longer in business. would bet that the bits and pieces were bought out by someone? Along with this idea, I had just hoped that someone else might still be making replacement parts?? Will contact Inland RV to see if they have any ideas.

We have a 1988 Excella that have Hunter Douglas blinds. They come with a plastic cap which has a metal stud that fastens to the wall mount. They sent them to us free of charge. They said Hunter Douglas is life-time guarantee.
