paint colors for '54 Flying Cloud

We are restoring a '54 FC. original green zolatone has been painted over;
We plan to repaint; we would like to go with the beige zolatone. Anyone know of a current zolatone color that is close to the original beige zolatone? Also, does anyone know of the color codes for the interior paint (not zolatone)pre '53?

debtip,
It is my understanding that Zolatone was used in 1955 Airstreams for the first time. Currently,there is a number of colors offered but the original green used in 55 is no longer available.....walt...tulsa,ok

I have a 53' Cruiser and it has a multi textued paint on it that I would say is Zolatone. I just gutted her and I know it was originial. You can go to their website to see some of the premade colors available http://www.zolatoneaim.com/palette.php .

This website shows how they painted theirs. 1956 Flying Cloud - Zolatone

I believe you can mix the paint colors to get the effect that you are looking for. I hope to find somewhere to see first hand the color options when we get to painting ours.

Good luck

paint colors for '54 Flying Cloud

In my research with Zolotone I was . No longer is it extremely toxic, in fact they have water base paint as well. They have many many color combinations that can be achieved. Have them send you their color brochure. You will be amazed.

Zolatone started a bit earlier than 1955, as we understand.
We are working with our Zolatone company rep. to get a match to the 1955 green Zolatone!!!
It is in the works.
