old interior paint

what is the best way to strip old paint from the interior....or just paint over it?

Wash it real good with TSP and paint over it.

Pick a paint designed with high adhesion. I went with Krylon Fusion spray paint and have been very happy with the results. Looks great after 2 years. Good selection of colors available special order through your local hardware store.
