Updated interior picturers

I have not followed up on this thread in a long time but to catch up on some previous post, the mini blinds are still working great. As I said in my orginial post once the blinds are hung just behind the track that the curtain slide on and are anchored at the bottom cut a couple of inches off of the 3 or 4 slats where the window opening hardware is and then you can easily access the handle and open the windows without a problem. On another note the JA curtain's still look great after being installed 11 years ago. Someone asked about the headliner over the front drapes. I did not have any cracks, but the the plastic was very yellow from age and looked terrible as did the 2 plastic roll up cabinet doors. So I took a a piece of hardware or something that that matched the color of the interior walls as a sample to Sherwin Williams paint and had them mix a small can of latex flat and latex semi gloss and I painted them. Everything now matches the interior colors and no yellowing. That was done about 10 years ago, no cracking or peeling during this time and still looks great.

The divider between the stove and doorway are 3 shutters attached side by side and are attached to the counter top and upper cabinets. Although they are stationary the slats in each shutter can be opened or closed. This provides a break between the kitchen counter area and the living room area. These are the white plastic type that are available from home depot or lowes that I painted black with spray plastic pant. I have attached some additional pictures of the interior that may be of interest.

Beautiful work you have done on the interior. I really like your storage drawers for the sink base cabinet.

What material is the counter top made from, where did you get it and where did you get the undermount ss sink?

mini blinds.

Caution should be used if mini blands are going to be installed.

Since the blinds are straight and the wall is curved, a gap midway on the side of the blind takes place.

End drape panels should be installed, so that when the blinds are closed, no one can see in.

So far, so good. But when the trailer is in motion, the ends of the blinds have a tendancy to cut into the end panels.

However, if wood end panels are installed, then the issue is gone.

Thanks, the storage drawers are great. The counter top is a Corian type solid surface product called Dovae that I ordered from SolidSurface.com: Sheet Material, Bulk Wholesale, DIY Countertops and Supplies. I was able to find a partial sheet that fit my counter area and cut it to size the hole for the sink with a router. I found the SS sink on Ebay. Also not shown in the pictures are covers for the 2 sink sides made out of the same material. I know some think that solid surface counter tops are to heavy and will probably not stand up well in a trailer. In all the solid surface counter top is not all all that much more weight than the old counter top. I had also removed the old range oven and that freed up a lot of weigh as well. I installed this in late 2008 and I have put a lot of miles on since then and the counter top has not budged at all. The back splash is a tile product that I found at Lowe's. They came in the 2/1/2"X 5" sheets on a mesh backing. I then mounted these on a piece of thin hardie board attached to the trailer walls and then grouted the spaces and put a piece of oak trim on top. I did not grout the bottom line that meets the counter but put a small bead of clear silicone there to handle in slight movement between the wall and counter top.It also has held up with out any problems. While I had the counter top off I reworked the suport on the cabinet itself to make sure that it was solid and attahed well to the walls and floor. That is when I also built the cabinet drawers at the bottom and installed the sliding storage shelves under the sink

If you are interested attached are some pictures of the actual installation.

This is correct if you do not have the mini blinds secured/attached at the bottom using the hardware that come with the blinds. But when they are secured/attached at the bottom as mine are they will hang in the space just behind the track that the top and bottom of the curtains slide on. With the bottom attached you can open an close the slats as you see fit, or unattach the bottom and raise/lower the blinds. Since the JPA curtains wrap around the ends and attach to the wall and encloses the blinds then you have complete privacy. My binds installed in this manner have not cut in to the curtain end panels.

blind pics

Well I started this string and my LY is now owned by another family in Utah. However, here are 2 interior pics of the blinds. Andy is right about there being a slight gap between blind & interior curved wall. However, one would have to have a really creepy peeper, standing right against your exterior window to see through the 1-2" or so of space into the inside of your trailer. And you would have to be in a compromising position, also right against your interior wall, for the creep to get an eyefull. Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. I loved the look and convenience of the blinds so much that I plan on doing it again in my "new" '62 GT.
