o clad for interior walls?
what is the difference between o-clad and a-clad for the aluminum. i tried to google it with no luck. i have a 66 safari with the vynal over aluminum walls and i wanted to redo the walls in aluminum. i found a great deal on new 4x12 sheets of .032 o clad material and was wondering if this would be fine for the interior walls? i asked the guy who is selling it and he says o clad forms better and is easier to bend.

I have never seen any reference to oclad on the forums.
Maybe one of the aluminum guru's can help with this.
P.S. Nice combo

I think it may be a nomenclature problem.
Probably meant to say "0 clad". The 0 would mean dead soft (hence the easier to form and bend comment), and the clad would be shorthand for Alclad.
Just a WAG.

A-Clad is Aluminum Clad. O is a designation for Hardness, Dead Soft.

I would suggest sticking with .032" T3 2024, keep the same structural benefits.

We were thinking of using the skins from a damaged trailer on the interior of ours. But after reading this, maybe they will be to hard to work with???
