New curtains!!!!

We installed our new curtains delivered this week from Audrey. They are beautiful and add so much color to our trailer. We love them and want to show them off. I have spent many hours sewing in my life but we felt we could get a better product with less stress from a professional. Marc and I think we made a great choice. Audrey did a fabulous job!

Beth they look great! Perfect choice for a "68" Safari. It's amazing what a nice set of drapes can do for our Airstreams!

They are really beautiful!

Love the color and pattern, and they really "make" your interior. Good choice.

Curtains

Nice looking curtains.

Was wondering who Audrey is and does she have a website?

Thank you for the compliments, all. We found Audrey on the forums here. She does curtains for all different years and models of airstreams. This is a side job for her but she's been doing it for a long time. She has standard fabric but we sent her our own as we wanted the kind of mod color for our '68 that you see in this fabric. Her website is www.jpadrapes.com We highly recommend her!

Beth,

We're almost finished restoring our '68 Tradewind but I still need to make the curtains. How are your curtains fastened at the bottom edge? Do you have a track or are you using the elastic cording attached to the snaps on the wall? I've been looking for pictures everywhere but haven't found what I need. Your curtains looks great and are exactly the way we want ours to turn out. Any other info/pics you could post would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Diane,
We have tracks at the top and bottom of the windows. My husband had to make new track for 2 windows which was not hard. The bottom and top of the curtains have an elastic cord that hooks onto the slide button. That keeps the curtains taut but still allows them to slide. The back window in the bath and the kitchen window have a roller shade that we covered in our fabric. The last photo shows the kitchen window that has fixed fabric held by snaps on the wall. These are nice and neat and don't take up room in the trailer.

Good luck with your curtains! Let me know if you have more questions.

Post photos!

Beth
