I love the trays! ( my hubby just saw your trays and really likes them too!!!) Your right it will look great together.
PM me your address and I'll send them off to you!
Now back to your curtains...How do you stop them from sliding off the end and did you snap them to the wall at the base?
I'm ordering brushed aluminum 1/2" blinds tomorrow from a big box store. They are 20% off and then my hubby gets another 10% for being a veteran. I think they are going to look great. I found a brown material with blue daisy's on them and thats going to be my curtains.
talk to you soon,
Meredith

Well, there's supposed to be a rivet or screw in the top if the track to stop them from sliding out, but I haven't got to that yet
That's the window that I had to replace some sliders on. The rivets are still in place on the others.
I didn't snap my curtains to the wall on the bottom because the bathroom one had a cord with snaps on each end that can be used to hold the curtain back if wanted. I liked that idea, so I made some cords from elastic. I probably did it wrong, but I can redo them later with the new material, lol.
Oh, and I just saw a set of 4 or 5 blue trays on etsy! I like the smaller size versus the normal, larger ones.

Those blinds will look nice! 1/2" will be much better than the 2" ones that were in ours. They were way too big and clunky.

It would go great with the old Texas ware trays I got today.

My curtains have a track with sliders in them. I got some lightweight pin hooks and slid them between the curtain and some heavy twill tape. I bought a few replacement sliders from vintagetrailersupply and they also had the hooks.
Reddoor,
How many plastic slide tabs does it take to do an average window? Let's say the kitchen window? I'll order them next week when I get home.
I'm going to do new curtains in my 65 Tradewind in the front. (kitchen window, side, front and curb side)
sometime later I'll do the bedroom and bathroom windows.
send me an email when you get your sheet in the mail.
M

The smaller windows like the kitchen took about 14 each. I think there are 25 across the couch. I can't remember how many are across the front window, but I can check tomorrow.

By the way, I went to a trades day this weekend and came home with several old calendar towels. For a dollar, some stuffing, and a half hour, I think it made a pretty cute little pillow!

Very cute and clever. You should look for a 1965 one! I did a search for trays tonight and found a bunch on ebay. My husband really wants me to get some. I think I should be able to find some around here where I live so I'm on the hunt. In a couple of weeks we are taking our AS out for her maiden voyage to eastern Washington for a long weekend. Anyway....I guess there is a giant whole town flee market that happens. I'm really stoked, hoping to find some good finds. I'm also going to another flea market type thing next weekend. They always have stuff there like that.

I added the shower curtain today. I found a seventies curtain on etsy and installed the snaps. Amazingly it took the whole curtain. It was hard to get a pic, but here's something.

Yes it is alot of fun! I'm going to look for paint tomorrow. I'm thinking mostly white with a turquoise in the front and orange on the overhead doors. If I can sneak it by hubby...

I spent the weekend painting and couldn't be happier with the results! The new paint was just what it needed. I also recovered 4 Legomatics to go with the light wood folding table. If it wasn't 110, I would gave set out there all afternoon.

Hi! Love what you have done to your trailer! So cute!
Question, did you line your shower curtain with a plastic liner?

Thanks! The curtain is a printed vinyl or plastic or something, so I don't need a liner. It's pretty thick by itself.
