New Curtain Trac for '73 Land Yacht

My original curtain trac is missing on all but lower part of one window, so i call A/S dealer and order new (current production) trac. It is very different because the lower trac is just a small channel with two small slots on the sides, no place to screw or mount. The dealer says that A/S tells him that the trac is screwed on, but can't tell me more and I can't talk directly to A/S.

Does anyone know how the new trac is mounted both upper and lower?

Bob

The upper track is in the valances.

The lower track is held in place with "standoffs."

Thanks Andy but tell us a little more please

Andy is the track available?
Are the standoffs available?
Are the valance endcaps available?

For the 70's era trailers? 73, 74, 75 in particular.

Would these work?

Cat's Tracks from an '81 Excella.

Also, markus is parting out a '72 Safari

Don't know if there are any curtain tracks.

Ah! Yes there are, if he hasn't 'parted' with them yet: they're there somewhere in here

Large valance end caps are available.

There are two tracks, each with different configurations.

Standoffs are available.

Probably the best way to see what you need, is to carefully look at another similiar trailer.
