Our Overlander has the sew-on tabs for the curtain, with a curtain, and no accordian door. I don't know if it was factory, but that curtain has been hanging there a LONNNNG time.

Ask and you shall receive!
I've wondering about those tabs for a while. Thanks to all. By the way, for what it's worth, my 61' Overlander has a folding accordian door in which I'm 99.9% sure in original.

While on a short road trip , I happened to stop in CW yesterday up in New Jersey and picked up 3 boxes of those sew-in tabs. Hope they fit my track.
Thanks for the tip that saved me the shipping !

Rivet Sew-In Tabs...the Sequel

Tracey,
Did the tabs fit your track?
My accordion door is fine, but I have no Bathroom door
Does it look like the track for the bathroom door and the track for the bedroom door are the same size on your trailer?
Appreciate the feedback. Have fun with your new silvery playtoy!
Mary

Mary, since Tracey and I have virtually the same coach, I can answer that question. It is the same size track, although ours was nothing more than a track, with nothing left but a single tab dangling from it. WhenI tried to take it down, it came apart in my hands. We went to Kmapart and got a curtain rod, and Marie made a pair of tab curtains to take the place of the mangled track and nonexistant door. Here is a photo of what we did:

Maztoz,
Overlander63 is right, the tracks are the same size. And the tabs fit perfectly in them. Just unscrew the track from the frame and insert tabs. I haven't sewn mine into the curtains I bought yet. I got heavy fabric long drapes from WallyWorld ($8 a piece) in a muted gold. Hubby wanted something that felt substantial and private while in the potty. If it is too thin for him then I will line that panel with a blackout fabric. (Men!)

BTW, I bought the tabs that have the criscross panel at the bottom as shown in Overlander63's original pictures (sew-in type).

The PO of our trailer had done a ramshackle job of installing curtain rods, mixing screws and nails with probably some heavy drinking involved!,so I really wanted to stick with the tracks and repair teh damaged wood.

We also have found evidence of, umm, "field repairs" that obviously had involved consuming copious amounts of alcohol before beginning any project. We have so far found no less than 17 (!) empty liquor bottles stashed in various out-of-the-way spots, like inside the cover for the bathtub...

Wow! That's an alarming amount and why was someone stashing empties?

I found a *full* gallon milk-jug of urine? under the bathroom vanity. At least it looked like really old urine and I was not about to open it up to check. We sacrificed it to the fire-gods on our burning brush pile along with all of the single stained socks found stuffed in every crevice and fugly flooring tiles I scraped off.

Isn't there an "Tales Of Terrible Trailer Treasures" sub-forum we should be posting this type of stuff to ?

Tabby Thingy's continued...

Thanks Overlander!
That's good news, and Marie did a beautiful job!
And Twoguys, I'll email you for details. I don't want the door, but would love the tabs if they are in functional order.

Tracey, I sure like the idea of "Tales Of Terrible Trailer Treasures". I found a pair of really old, well worn, tiny (maybe size 5?) ballet flats. hmmmm....
BTW Tracey, I made my way to your blog site looking for pictures of your trailer. We both have old Airstreams, cats name Booger, too many pets, checkered kitchen floors, husband's with picky bathroom habits, an aversion to ugly sweaters, and live in tiny little towns. Pretty cool huh?

Question 2guys Tabs ??

Hey 2guys,
Haven't heard back from you about the offer for the curtain tabs. I just received the fabric and I'm itchin' to sew! Well, not really...
And Ms. Tracey -- I sent an email to your blog site but it bounced back
Should I try again? I found the coolest fabric on ebay.
My Booger says "hi" to your Booger

Hmmmm...gonna have to check that email link on the blog. I'd love to see the fabric. Email me at squirrelsaresoft@gmail.com

my Booger had a pus volcano (yep...ugh!) on the top of his head as a result of a cat fight last week. He's much better and back to his rowdy small-helpless-critter-harassing self. He sends a big Hi to your Booger!
