MCD vs Oceanair VS United Blinds

I've read owners of even newer Airstreams complain their Oceanair shades start to fray on the edges relatively quickly.

Has anyone have experience with MCD and United blinds. Do the have the same issue?

I currently have the pleated day/night shades in my Classic. The night shades give me issues when trying to retract them. They don't always fold on the seams so I'm thinking what if I went with a night blind. My current day shades don't seem to perform much purpose since the windows except for the rear dinette windows are heavily tinted so a simple night shade would only be needed
