Looking for 'Lookout' blinds!

We just bought a 1990 34' Excella and it has the most beautiful wood blind above the kitchen sink window and on one of the front windows. The rest of the windows are all done in cheap, poorly working drapes that DO NOT match anything in the trailer. We would like to go back in with the wood blinds as it looks like it was all done in the wood blinds at one time due to the holes in the walls. I am having trouble finding "Lookouts" blinds as is on the bottom sticker on them. We would like to match the wood that is currently in place. I also can't figure out how the blinds worked on the front and back curved portion of the windows. (no hole markes were there!) Thanks for your help!

Sorry I can't be of any real help. But, I did find this post from 2006! You aren't the only person with Lookouts.

More then likely they were a small company that just made blinds for Airstream in the 90's. What I would do is take the blind down and go to a small window covering shop and look at all the samples, I'm sure you could find a match color wise. After 20 years the original color wouldn't match anyway. The reason you couldn't find holes for the curved windows is because there were only drapes on those, you can't cover with blinds. Airstream used both blinds and draperies on front and back windows. Good luck

wood blinds

I haven't measured the windows but I can go out there and do it this week. What color is the wood? Can you send me a picture? Are they in good shape? I will get back with you on Wednesday when I can go out there and measure the windows. How exciting! I had just about given up!

I will measure the windows and let you know what I have. They appear to be in working condition. We just purchase this trailer in October. We are updating the inside and are replacing the blinds with micro blinds for a more modern look. and doing away with the old curtains. I expect to order the new blinds within the next two weeks. I will also take a picture of the blinds. I should have this done by Thursday. My email is deherde@hotmail.com.
