Cool Internal restoration of panels for 2006 34' classic

I want to remove the panels from my 2006 ' classic airstream 34'. I am thinking of either new aluminum internal panels vs a natural wood finish. I am quite sure I have opened up a very broad question. I think the first step is know what is involved with removing the panels. What special tools, strippers, and information resources are available?
If lay birch or aluminum internally do I have to remove panel or leave it?
If removed do I need to put an insulatory layer in. Cork I hear is sound muffling and provides insulation.
Please direct me to the articles or threads so I can get this going. This is a very enjoyable experience.
Thank you
Marshall Rea
