Hi, Big newbie over here but seems like this place is pretty welcoming so I'm in!
My first current airstream is an early 70's
sovereign. It was gutted and, floor put in, wheel wells framed in and used as an empty space for talent on movie sets. I am now turning it into a rustic useable basic bedroom with a few comforts for us to use and when not using - rent it out.
Anyway - current project - interior paint job.
The end cap still has original wall paper that we will leave, but the rest of the trailer seems like painted aluminum? its tacky/sticky to the touch so my wife thinks wallpaper used to be on all of it and thats whats left after peeled away and coved up with a white paint but tacky remained. she right? . We gave it a clean with a degrease/bleach but still a little tacky. Do i just prime this entire interior first then just a good latex by the looks of some other threads will be fine?
Appreciate the help.
