My old OEM couch (29'Excella - 1989) has hog rings holding seat fabric to springs.

Anyone know what size there are or what to size buy for new reupholstery??
Have cut the old off and thrown away .

I used these when I redid my couch.

Had plenty to complete the job.

NPD in Canton MI has kits for automotive upholstery.
They have a store near me in NC.
And, there is always Amazon.
Don't know about sizes.

Thank you sir. Just ordered the kit.
Have a few spots where the seat spring wires have broken where they cross. Will have to figure a way to repair those.

Make sure when you buy the rings you get a good set of hog ring pliers. It makes the job easy.
Amazon has lots to choose from: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...s=hog+ring+kit

I saw the pliers at Lowes in the fence parts area. But I just did a seat repair on my VW that needed hog rings but in a VERY hard to reach spot. Under the seat cover to the foam, not to the seat frame.

My Ace hardware store had the pliers too but in the pet supplies they have a rabbit or pet fence repair tool. Similar to hog rings but it uses flat J clips. The clip goes in the clip pliers and when you squeeze the J gets wrapped around curling back and makes a nice rolled ring.
