Help with cleaning upholstery drapes

Hi all,

I'm getting ready to winterize my airstream and i read in the manual that i should clean the upholstery while its on the cushion. I was thinking I would remove the seat covers and have them dry cleaned.

Can anyone give me suggestions on cleaning?

I have a 2008 Intl 19 ft

Can't say about the upholstery, but we've washed the drapes with good success. We take them down, and wash by hand in a tub with cold water and Oxiclean.

If you do take the cushion covers off to have dry cleaned save the poly/plastic they come back to you in and place over the foam to help ease the covers back on. It will make the task a lot easier. Pull poly off once it's in place.

I've also had great success with soaking my drapes with Oxyclean for H2O rings. I swear by the stuff. If your drapes are just dusty throw them in the dryer to get dust off and freshen them up with a dryer sheet. I wouldn't recommend cleaning them every year unless you have real issues with water rings or stains.
