Have a drooping headliner in a 94 classic. Would appreciate any help on how to repair.

Headliner

Is the same stuff that General Motors put in their cars in the 1980s and 1990s?
If it is the only thing you can do is remove it and replace it.

If you do a search on the forum there has been discussion about this topic with some solutions offered.
The headliner in my 94 hasn't drooped yet but I suspect it will be soon in the bedroom.

Hope you all have +$5K for the redo on your ceilings. If not, try using 1.5" vinyl lattice to prop it up every 9 or 10 inches. The Joints are scarey and I never figured that part out. Finally coughed up the bucks and had the whole ceiling re-upholstered.

The word is out

Sorry to say, but Beginner is right. There is no simple way to do it right. There are solutions out there...but, to do it right means pulling the interior cabinets and partitions....then the headliner...then completely clean off all the previous adhesive residue...then re-adhere a new or thoroughly clean liner again. I always ask about the headliner condition in my search for a 90's 21' Sovereign. When I find one, the liner is already hanging or the seller not willing to understand the very expensive problem.
