Gaucho Foam Thickness

Hello All, I am a newby to Airstream, but this isn't my first rodeo with RV's. I just purchased a 79 Excella 500 w/the Gaucho in the sleeping area. The upholstry and foam are missing, but the frame is intact. The front Gaucho was removed long ago and replaced with a flexsteel sofa. Could someone please tell me the thickness of the foam and possibly some low cost options for replacement? Thanks!

Mine is 6" thick. Not sure if there is low cost foam. Mine was $400.

Beautiful!

Your Gaucho looks amazing. Do you know off hand the width of the seat and the back. My AS is 600 miles away, and I won't pick it up for two weeks, so I am trying to get a head start. Rick gave me a great place for foam, so I'm getting closer. Take care and thanks to everyone out there. This site is helpful and the people are really friendly. Eric

My 66' is not at home today, so I cannot measure it for you, I know it was 73" long, I would post a new thread asking for people to reply with the measurements closer to your year camper.

Picture

Your picture of the Gaucho in progress was very helpful. It looks like a recover job is something even I could do. I am sure the curtains and the divider are out of my league. E
