Has anyone ordered fabric from Reprodepot on the trailer library link?
They have some beauties on sale that I'd love to get, but then again, my "design instincts" kinda stink. I like "hawaiian" and "modern" but can't think of a way to mix the two. For cushions and curtains.

I did. You can see some of it on the photosite. ( does it work?)
Their barkcloth is fantastic. It wears quite well, and has not faded hardly at all.
Hawaiian is very busy, makes small spaces look smaller. I would find a pleasant solid color for the cushions, and then use the hawaiian for accents, like pillows or shams etc.
Curtains look best if the color is on the light side. They have some good combinations there, matching cutrains and cushion materials.
It's always best to order samples first,a nd take them out to the traielr and see what looks best.

Just wanted to put my two cents into this thread......but warning, my knowledge is based on, well, nothing. So take it for what it's worth.

I think you should go for the hawaiian print and modern. Do what you like and want. It should be fun and once you give yourself some freedom and "toss the rules!" you'll probably have a great time. And it's not a lifechoice......obviously you're ordering fabric so this is a do it yourself project? If and when you decide it was a mistake, change it. Eclectic is fun, exciting to look at and says so much about you. And remember, it doesn't have to appeal to everyone........it wouldn't even if it was "tasteful" (I use the word and cringe - I despise "tasteful")

We're ordering a hawaiin barkclothe to reupholster. I wanted to go wilder with some of the cool flamingo/parrot patterns but they're not upholstery grade. Keeping the curtains neutral and trying to get the fun factor elevated inside. There's alot of websites for the hawaiin barkclothe upholstery.
