Maybe you should get a web site to help with pictures of what you can do for all your potential AS customers!

Hi Tammy,
Great idea, esp. if you can make a bit of money working at home on something you love doing. I have a question for you. I made our drapes for a 76 Caravanner using the original clips. The curtains are fine but many of the clips have snapped off. So I have new clips and will replace all the old ones. My question is: Do you need to use the elastic that comes with the clips to allow for "Flex" while traveling or can you attach the clips to the curtains with bias tape? Want to do it right this time.
Thanks for any help you, or anyone else, can provide.

I went to walmart and bought 3/8" washable polyester elastic. It is the same width as the other and comes in 6yd's. It was around 2.75 and works great. I would say that the bias tape would be to tight and wouldnt allow for flexing and may come off or rip the bottom of your curtain.

Thanks so much for the advice. I think I will replace the elastic that comes with the tabs with the Poly you suggested. Good luck with your new commercial venture.

Tammy is doing drapes for my 74 Argosy motorhome. I couldn't ask for a better person to do it. She is very customer oriented, works to get exactly what you want and a great price. What more can you ask for.

I've seen some treads here about getting drapes from campingworld or other places that have a certain fabrics you must use. Isn't the whole idea behind all of or aluminum obsession to do things our way. My view is that if I wanted to just get things off the shelf, I could have got one of the box RVs. All the restoration would have been much easier.

I'd rather tell people who ask "These were custon made by a lady in Tennessee"

Tammy, you may want to think about changing your user name "newbie2006" to something related to start branding your biz name.

Think about it

Tammy,
We will eventually need new curtains in our 75 Argosy. Front wrap around windows and both sides over the twin beds. Any idea yet about how much that might run so I can ask Santa? Any ballpark figure will do, just so I can compare with others locally. You're welcome to PM me. Thanks!

I am in the process of repairing a couple of my drapes and was wondering if you would share with me the placement of the plastic tabs with new elastic. Thanks!

Camping World carries the plastic tabs with new elastic.
I had to replace them on some of my curtains.

Big Thanks to Tammy

Got the new curtains back today and we installed them right away. They look great and fit well. The wife's happy so that means I'm happy. Tammy did a great job and it was a very quick turn-around on getting them made. Again thanks.

P.S. We plan on getting the L-Lounge recovered in the near future.

I just had my gauchos redone. Can drapes be made out of upholstery fabric, or is it too heavy?
