Drapery Springs

Maybe I'm getting old, but I seem to remember that my father's 75 Excella had thin springs through the bottom of the curtains to help hold them against the curved sides. I have made new drapes for my 67 Tradewind and think I'd like them to be snug against the wall also. Any advice on whrere to find the springs (or if I'm way off base)? Thanx for the help

I don't know about the 75 Excella but our 76 Sovereign had elastic ribbon sewn between the curtain and the carrier (rail slider thingy - and yes that is a technical term ) to keep the curtain tight between the rails.

Curtain carriers for various vintage trailers can be purchased from several sources. A few in alphabetical order:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Inland RV Center - The Nations Leading Expert in Airstream Innovations

Out-of-Doors Mart

Vintage Trailer Supply - Vintage travel trailer parts and supplies!
